Ready?... Set?... ACCELERATE!
What better way to learn than through active, first-hand experience, right?
And what if that ‘better way’ could be even better? What if there was someone to support you in those efforts and help you hone the skill, master the mindset and build the adaptability and resilience you needed to succeed and thrive in life? What then? Well, that’s when your learning gets a turbo boost and the acquisition and mastery of skills is accelerated. And that’s exactly what our Thrive Guides (coaches) at Thrive Nation do: accelerate young adults' skills development and mastery. Whether it’s decision-making, time management, critical-thinking, goal-setting, creativity and problem-solving, communication, teamwork or leadership skills a Thriver needs help with, we cover them all in our Thriver Competencies. And let’s not forget empathy, compassion, gratitude, adaptability and resilience too. We nurture these too. Linked to the four phases of our Thrive Cycle, our Thriver Competencies encompass the self-awareness and understanding, skills and capabilities, mindset and motivation, and review and reflection that contribute to a young adult’s ability to thrive.

The Thrive Cycle is the cyclical experience every young adult goes through in finding and fulfilling their ‘Thrive’ – what they were born to be and do. And it’s not just a ‘one and done’ “deal”. We all go around the Thrive Cycle many times in our lives – as we refine our Thrive or as we embark on new adventures and activities that bring us to an even richer and deeper level of thriving.

With over 50 Thriver Competencies to choose from and with personalized coaching
on the specific Thriver Competencies each Thriver wants or needs help with,
Thrive Nation helps to accelerate a Thriver’s mastery of key skills and capabilities. And who wouldn’t want that?
So in this festive season of gift-giving, why not give the gift of turbo-boosted skills or, as Lee Rainie, Director of Internet and Technology at the Pew Research Center, puts it, ‘tough-to-teach intangibles’:
“Learners must cultivate 21st century capabilities and attributes:
Tough-to-teach intangibles such as emotional intelligence,
curiosity, creativity, adaptability, resilience and
critical thinking will be most highly valued.” *
